Unicorn held division 2 champions Knighton Park 5  to a 5 all draw thanks to a maximum from Abin Islam who was MOM, backing him up was Cameron Leighton  2.

Knighton Park needed the double to make the draw.

Chris Hatton won 2 with 1 each for Dave Mountain and Chris Parmar-Saville, Dave and Chris held onto the doubles.

 

Holwell overcame Great Glen with an 8-2 win, maximums for both Martin Brunning and Mike James with Fred Berdej adding his 1.

Alex Mason and Steve Crook both winning 1 each

18 March

Knighton Park 4 overwhelmed Great Glen 10-0,  John Underwood, George McClurkin and Andy Searle all winning 3 straight and doing the damage.

 

Knighton Park 6 travelled to Holwell and went home with a 6-4.

Holwell’s Martin Brunning was MOM with a maximum and 1 for Dave Roche.

James Lancaster and Corey Lancaster each winning 2 for the KP team and Billy Bui supporting them with 1, and to claim the 4 points took the doubles.

 

Maximums for both Darren Bramhall and Barry Thompson, plus 1 for Dave Wagstaff when Arnesby beat Syston 2   7 games to 3.

For Syston it was 1 each for Clive Stretton and John Szostak and together they took the doubles for the point.

 

Knighton Park 5 made a draw with Syston 3 thanks to a maximum from Chris Hatton and 1 for Dave Mountain, they needed the doubles to secure the draw.

Ian Whetherley and Kevin Sanderson both winning 2 each for the away team and Richard Anderson chipped in his 1.

 

Unicorn 3 ran away with a 9-1 win over Abbots Road, maximums for Kalan Bhakta, and Cameran Leighton, Joe Hulme added his 2.

Gitesh Parbhoo won the only game for AR.

Arnesby and Holwell held each other to a 5 all draw.

Darren Bramhall and Dave Wagstaff both taking 2 each for the visitors and Barry Thompson adding his 1 and narrowly losing 9-11 in the 5th to Martin Brunning

Mike James and Martin also with 2 each and together took the doubles for the draw.

 

Abbots Road hammered Syston 2 with an 8-2 score line thanks to Vishal Parmar’s maximum and MOM, supporting him were Geoff Hancock and Gitesh Parbhoo with 2 each.

Bob Whittaker won the 2 for the home team.

 

2 Knighton Park teams played each other with James Lancaster taking a maximum and MOM for the 6th team, 2 for Billy Bui and Roma Morjaria teaming up with Billy for the 6-4 win.

George McClurkin won 2 for the 4th team and 1 each for Dean Jordan and John Underwood.
