A maximum and MOM from Chetan Tailor saw Abbots Road beat Holwell 8-2. He was backed up by 2 each for Vishal Parmar and Geoff Hancock.
Mike James and Dave Roche both winning 1 each for the away team.
Regent Sports once again turned up with just 2 players and were well beaten 8-2 by Desford 1.
Jess Birkeck won her 2 with 1 each for Arun Yogi and Neil Mathams.
Charlie Bateman won the 2 for the home team and a good 3 straight win over Yogi.
Fleckney k’od a 2 man Great Glen team.
Matt Rayner, Pete Jamieson and Jason Prescott all winning 2 each.
Arnesby took advantage of Electricity turning up with 2 players and beating them 8-2.
Rhys Emery and Bruce Johnson with 2 each plus the doubles.
John Winsper and Russell Pettitt won 1 each for the away team.
A very close match for 2 of the leading teams with Desford 2 edging out the 6-4 winners against Knighton Park 4.
Matt Briggs led his team with a maximum and MOM with 2 from Kevin Parker.
Amardeep Reddy who was playing up won 2 with 1 each for John Underwood and Zia Malik for the away team.
Syston held onto a 6-4 lead over Goons.
Bob Whittaker took control with a maximum and MOM, John Szostak won 2 and 1 for Clive Stretton.
Anton Thomas won 2 and had a good win over John, Scott Robinson also having a good win over Clive Stretton.
Barry Robinson teamed up with Anton to take the doubles to give the team a point.

I will start this weeks report with a match from the previous week as I have only just received the result .
John Szostak led Syston to a 6-4 win over Arnesby with his maximum and MOM, Bob Whittaker backed him up with 2 and Clive Stretton adding his 1 and narrowly losing deuce in the 5th to Dave Small.
Rhys Emery took 2 for the home team and Dave S won 1 and together they took the doubles.
Onto this week.
Electricity and Desford brought their scheduled match forward to avoid the City match.
MOM with a maximum was Kevin Parker backed up by 2 from Matt Briggs and 1 for Paul Bumpus.
Steve White won 2 and 1 for Russell Pettitt making the final score 7-3 to Desford.
Holwell and Fleckney had to share the points in their 5 all draw.
Dave Roche and Tony Fox both winning 2 and Mike James throwing in his 1.
Fleckney need the doubles on top of Matt Rayner and Pete Jamieson’s 2 each and together won the doubles.
Another draw this time it was Knighton Park 4 battling it out with Abbots Road.
Osman Bawa was MOM with his 3 straight maximum for the home team with Zia Malik supporting him with 2.
Vishal Parmar won 2, with 1 each for Geoff Hancock and Chetan Tailor, Vishal and Geoff winning the all important doubles.
Arnesby won 8-2 against Goons thanks to a 3 straight maximum for Rhys Emery plus MOM, Dave Wagstaff and Bruce Johnson both contributing 2 each.
Anton Thomas won the 2 singles for the home team.
Regent Sports gave Great Glen a thrashing beating them 9-1.
Maximums for Kevin Sanderson and Charlie Bateman, Richard Anderson adding his 2.
Cliff won the only singles for the home team.
Desford 1 scrabbled a 6-4 win against Syston having been 4-1 up and then having to win the doubles for the 4points.
Tony Smith and Arun Yogi won 2 each and 1 for Neil Mathams, Yogi and Tony making sure of a 3 straight doubles win.
