Still an almighty struggle at the top of this division with the 2 KP teams 6 and 5 in 1st and 2nd place, with Syston 2 and 3 with games in hand 3rd and 4th, Holwell have now dropped down the list.
A rearranged match from last week saw Unicorn beat KP 6 by 6-4, it was maximums for both Kalan Bhakta and Edward Adams.
It was 1 each for Corey Lancaster, Dillon Kearney and Emanuele Carriero.
Knighton Park 7 hammered Desford 9-1, Hamza Caratela playing up with a maximum and MOM, Tomasz Kazmierczak also taking a maximum, Dariusz Miazga winning 2.
Bryan Moylan winning the only game for Desford.
Unicorn had a comfortable 7-3 win over Holwell, It was 2 all round for Kalan Bhakta, Cameron Leighton and Joe Hume, Kalan losing to Martin Brunning deuce in the 5th.
It was 1 each for Mike James, Fred Berdej and Martin.
Another Unicorn match saw them win 6-4 against Winstanley Wizards.
Maximums for Kalan Bhakta and Danny He.
Elly Bajarias, Mick Box and Thomas Seed playing up, all taking 1 each plus the doubles.
Syston 3 took command of their match against Howell and beat them 8-2.
Ian Whetherely was MOM with his maximum and 2 each for Kevin Sanderson and Richard Anderson.
Martin Brunning won the only 2 and narrowly losing deuce in the 5th to Ian.
Arnesby had a 6-4 win over Knighton Park 5.
It was 2 each for Darren Bramhall, Barry Thompson and Dave Wagstaff.
George McClurkin’s maximum was not enough to stop the defeat, Andy Searle losing deuce in the 5th to Dave Wagstaff.
Bumper night for Knighton Park 6 when they annihilated Abbots Road 10-0.
Maximums all round for Dillon Kearney, Corey Lancaster and James Lancaster.

Some matches played out of order this week and last week.
Syston 2 made a 7-3 win against Winstanley Wizards thanks to Bob Whittaker’s 3 straight maximum and MOM, 2 for John Szostak and 1 for Clive Stretton.
Elly Bajarias took 2 for the home side and Hemant Bhakta playing up won 1.
( This match played a week ahead) .Abbots Road played Knighton Park 7 and beat them 6-4, Gitesh Parbhoo was MOM with his maximum and 1 each for Geoff Hancock and Fahed Sacour, Gitesh and Fahed secured the doubles for the win.
Tomasz Kazmierczak won 2, with Dariusz Miazga and Hamza Carretela playing up, won 1 each. Dariusz losing deuce in the 5th to both Geoff and Gitesh.
Knighton Park 5 overwhelmed Syston 3 by 9-1, there were maximums for both George McClurkin and Andy Searle and 2 for Dean Jordan.
Ian Whetherley won the only singles for the away team.
Back to KP 7 who played Syston 3 and thanks to an excellent maximum for Khaalid Patel and MOM held Syston 3 to a 5 all draw. 1 each for Dariusz and Tomasz.
Ian Whetherley won 3 and 1 each for Kevin Sanderson and playing up Martin Bolton, Martin lost deuce in the 5th to Khaalid.
Knighton Park 6 had a convincing 8-2 win over Arnesby with maximums for Dillon Kearney and James Lancaster, Emanuele Carriero winning 2, they gave the doubles away.
Dave Wagstaff won the only match for Arnesby.

Maximums from Martin Brunning and Mike James saw a 7-3 win for Holwell against Winstanley Wizards, Fred Berdej and Martin adding the doubles.
Elly Bajarias, Mick Box and Himansu Mishra all winning 1 each, Mick unlucky to lose deuce in the 5th to Mike and Elly and Himansu also losing the doubles deuce in the 5th.
Syston 2 kept up the pressure at the top and beat Desford 7-3.
MOM with his maximum was Chandresh Sodha and 2 each for John Szostak and Clive Stretton.
Andy Wright winning 2 for Desford and together with Luke Blair won the doubles for the point
Knighton Park 5 drew 5 all with Unicorn, Kalan Bhakta was MOM with a maximum, Edward Adam’s winning 1 and together they took the doubles to secure the 2 points.
George McClurkin and Zaheer Mohamed won 2 each for KP and Dean Jordan supported them with his 1.
Knighton Park 6 dominated their match with Syston 3 winning it 8-2.
There were excellent maximums for Dillon Kearney and James Lancaster with Emanuele Carriero supporting them with his 1, Emanuele and Dillon sealing the win with the doubles.
Ian Whetherley and Kevin Sanderson winning 1 each and Ian losing deuce in the 5th to James.
Arnesby needed the doubles to beat Knighton Park 7 6-4, Darren Bramhall was MOM with his maximum and with 1 each for Barry Thompson and Dave Wagstaff, Darren and Dave with the all-important doubles.
Khaalid Patel had 2 good wins against Barry and Dave, 1 each for Dariusz Miazga and Tomas Kazmierczak.
