Holwell visited Desford and went home 8-2 winners, maximums for Mike James and Martin Brunning, Dave Roche adding his 2.

Andy Wright winning the only match for Desford and together with Alan Oxborough sneaked the doubles.

 

Syston 2 held Knighton Park 5 to a 5 all draw.

John Szostak was MOM with his maximum, Chandresh backed him up with 2.

KP’s John Underwood  winning 2 and 1 each for Andy Searle and Dean Jordon, John and Andy secured the doubles for the 2 points.

 

Knighton Park 7 overwhelmed Winstanley Wizards 8-2 with maximums for Tomasz Kazmierczak and Chris Zielazny,  Khaalid Patel supporting them with 2.

Elly Bajarias won the only singles for the away team and they were given the doubles.

 

Maximum for Kalan Bhakta and Edward Adams when Unicorn beat Abbots Road 7-3, Thomas Young unlucky to lose deuce in the 5th to Geoff Hancock.

Geoff, Fahed Sacoor and Gitesh Parbhoo all winning 1 each.

 

Syston 3 outplayed Arnesby and beat them 8-2.

Maximums for Kevin Sanderson and Rhys Emery, Richard Anderson with 2.

Dave Small won the only singles for  his team and again they were given the doubles.

Syston 3 hammered Winstanely Wizards 8-2, maximums for both Kevin Sanderson and Ian Whetherley, Richard Anderson backing them up with his 2.

Elly Barjaria winning the only singles and they were gifted the doubles.

 

Abbots Road and Holwell shared the points in their 5 all draw.

Geoff Hancock was MOM with his maximum and Gitesh Parbhoo adding his 2.

Mike James won 2 for Holwell and Martin Brunning and Fred Berdej taking 1 each., Mike and Martin needing the doubles for the 2 points.

 

Knighton Park 5 took Desford apart with a 9-1 win.

3 straight maximums for both George McClurkin and Andy Searle and John Underwood adding his 2.

Bryan Moylan won the only 1 for Desford.

 

Edward Adam’s maximum and MOM helped Unicorn to a 7-3 win over Arnesby, Kalan Bhakta and Danny He both winning 2 each, Kalan unlucky to lose deuce in the 5th to Barry Thompson.

Barry won  the only 2 for Arnesby ,  Dave Wagstaff and Dave Small rescued the doubles for the point.

 

An excellent result for Knighton Park 6 when they held Syston 2 to a  5 all draw.

Billy Bui led the team with  his maximum and  MOM,  Dillon Kearney supporting him with his 2. Emanuele Carriero retiring injured during the match.

John Szostak taking 2 and 1 each for Chandresh Sodha and Bob Whittaker, Bob unlucky to lose deuce in the 5th to Billy.

A good result from this young team against a very experienced team.

Arnesby overwhelmed Winstanely Wizards by 9-1.

Dave Wagstaff and Dareen Bramhall both taking maximums and 2 for Dave Small.

Hement Bhakta playing up had a good win over Dave S for WW.

 

A little mix up of  finding the venue made it a problem for Unicorn when they entertained Desford.

With a late start (Unicorn have to be out of venue for 9pm) all matches couldn’t be completed.

Joe Hume with a maximum, 2 for Thomas Young and also 2 for Danny He who had to give a walk over against Bryan Moylan, and Unicorn also conceded the doubles.

Final score 8-2 to Unicorn.

 

Inter club match saw Knighton Park 6 and 7 hold each other to a 5 all draw.

KP 6 were 5-1 down and brought it back to a draw with James Lancaster winning 2, and 1 each for Dillon Kearney and Corey Lancaster , Dillon and Corey held on  to the draw by winning the doubles.

Khaalid Patel and Dariusz Miazga took 2 each for KP 7 and Umar Khan chipped in his 1.

 

Syston 3 could only field 2 players for their match against Abbots Road but came out of it 6-4 winners thanks to Richard Anderson’s maximum and MOM, with 2 was Ian Whetherley.

A rare appearance from Vishal Parmar stopped the rot with his 1 for AR.

 

Chandresh Sodha’s maximum and MOM was not enough to stopped Syston 2 going down 4-6 to Holwell, Clive Stretton backing him with 1.

It was 2 each for Holwell’s Martin Brunning and Dave Sharpe and 1 for Mike James, Mike and Martin secured the doubles for the win.
