18 February


On Tuesday, Leicester T&SC continued their recent upturn in form with a narrow 6-4 win over Nomads III. moving them level on points with their opponents. Elsewhere KP XIII maintained their 3rd place position with a comprehensive 10-0 win over Fleckney, Prabb Jaggi POTM. Also on Tuesday WW VI beat Syston V 8-2 with Alfie Purple POTM.


Wednesday evening saw Regents Sports II beat WW V 7-3, Will Clarke with another fine POTM performance. In the weeks final match league leaders KPXV beat KP XIV 10-0 . Shirley Pickering making  a rare appearance, POTM.



A quiet week with only rearranged fixtures being played. . Tuesdays matches saw WW V beat Nomads III 9-1 , Pete Mason POTM and league leaders KP XV beat Desford III 8-2, the away team only having 2 players.


In Wednesdays remaining match Leicester T&SC continued their recent good form with a fine 8-2 win away ay Fleckney, Dave Fowler POTM

11 February

Tuesdays matches saw KP XIII win comfortably 8-2 away at Syston with Milan Sodha turning in another POTM performance. In a mid table clash WW V! narrowly came out on top, beating Regents Sports II 6-4, Will Clark POTM once again.


On Wednesday, Fleckney IV had a much needed 7-3 win over KP XIV, with Mike Miles scoring a fine maximum, In the weeks final round of matches the Divisions two runaway leaders both had comprehensive wins: Nomads II 10-0 in their derby with Nomads III and KP XV beating Desford III, 8-2. 


In the weeks final game Leicester T&SC picked up a good draw at home to, top half,  WW V; with Dave Fowler POTM.

Rather than turn left at Horse and Trumpet (there is a bridge closure between Wigston and Wistow), continue along A5199 (old A50) to Arnesby.

Take left turn signposted Fleckney (Fleckney Lane) and, bearing left onto Arnesby Road, continue into Fleckney Village.

Turn left at t-junction onto High Street.

Turn right at mini-roundabout onto Leicester Road.

Venue is on right through gates immediately before Bramley Close.



3 February

Some remarkable scores in Tuesdays opening match where Desford III beat Fleckney IV 8-2. Gemma Hargrave beat Naresh Shah 3-2,  but not before loosing both the 3rd and 4th games 13-15! Equally unusually, Gordon Bacon's 5 set win over Mike Miles saw him loose the opening game 18-20. Gillian Wisdish POTM.


Three matches on Tuesday: League leaders KP XV beat Nomads III 9-1 with a conceded doubles the only consolation for the home team. Shirley Pickering, in a rare appearance was POTM. 2nd place Nomads II comfortably beat WW V 7-3 away, Chris Wilson securing a remarkable 13th POTM award this season. In the final match of the day KP XIII had lost only their 3rd match of the season, narrowly 4-6  to WW VI, Alfie Purple POTM


In Wednesdays match, Leicester Tennis and Squash club belied their league position and moved off the bottom,  with a comprehensive 10-0 win over mid table Regents Sports II. Dave McTurk POTM.


The last match pf the week saw KP IX draw with Syston V, reflecting their close proximity in the league table. Toren Storer POTM.
