Preferred method of receiving results: SCANNED PDF

The opening matched this week saw KP XIV easily beat LTSC 8-2 with Stan Dunne maintaining hos 100% record as POTM. On the same night, Desford, playing at home ended KP XIII's unbeaten record with a hard fought 6-4 win, Gordon Bacon taking the honours  as POTM.

 

On Wednesday, Sytson V had a good 8-2 win at WW VII, Sunju Gohel, with a great maximum for POTM. At Winstanley School, WW VI beat Nomads III 9-1 in a match to move up to 3rd in the table. The match  was closer than the score suggested. with some hard fought games and another POTM performance by Neel Deshpande.  

 

In the weeks final match leaders KP XV had a resounding 9-1 at Fleckney V1., with Tanveer Solanki leading the way as POTM.

DIVISION FIVE

12 Jan

The first match in the New Year resulted in a narrow 6-4 win for WW VI away at Leicester T&SC which briefly moved them to the top of the league. Neel Desphande with a fine maximum  POTM.

 

On Tuesday in the first of two matches Nomads III beat WW VII 8-2, leapfrogging them in the table, with Julie Edwards POTM. The same evening, Syston overwhelmed Fleckney III, 9-1, with the away team taking the doubles to avoid a whitewash. Riley Coles with another POTM performance.

 

On Thursday leaders KP XV, had a narrow 6-4 win over Desford III, Niam Kotecha with another POTM award. Regents Sports II beat Fleckney IV 7-3, Bob Palmer securing a consolation maximum for the away side. Finally 2nd placed KP XIII beat KP XIV 7-3, Dennis O'Riordan maintaining his fine average with anther POTM award.

On Monday evening, KP XIII maintained their unbeaten record winning 7-3 at Leicester T&SC. Dennis O'Riordan POTM, having only lost one match all season.

 

3 matches on Tuesday: In the Winstanley derby, WW VI had (in their own words) a "stonking" 9-1 win over WW VII. Neel Deshpande with a fine maximum for POTM. Elsewhere Nomads III narrowly picked up their 2nd win of the season, in a match finishing at 23.20,  with a close fought 6-4 win over Fleckney III, Julie Edwards securing her 2nd consecutive POTM award. Syston III, also beat Fleckney IV 6-4 with Bob Palmer for the away team securing a maximum for POTM.

 

On Thursday, KP XV finally lost their unbeaten record going down 3-7 to KP XIV. Stan Dunne, returning from injury maintained his 100% record with the POTM performance. KP XV remain top of the table by a point with KP XIV 4 points behind with a game in hand. In the final match of the week, Desford III moved back into 3rd place with a narrow 6-4 win over Regents Sports II, Joel Moulder POTM.
